Please remember that the HOPE Scholarship is calculated using only the core courses, even those used as electives. Not included in the calculation: Physical Education courses, Drama, Art, etc. Also, all Fs are calculated as a 0, and as such seriously hurt the GPA.
In order to apply for HOPE, or any other grant, scholarship or financial aid, all families must fill out the FAFSA form, released each January, for the current tax year. Do not forget this important step, or you will not receive aid of any sort. This form is available through the GAcollege411 site as well. |
